I personally like the original one much better, but then of course, the strong contrast from almost no color to an area that is very colorful draws the eye to that area, done very well.

The second one, has some interesting graphics, but I see it as to dark, with not enough WOW factor.

Excellent work regardless, hope to see you around campus!

Well, to be honest, I never saw the original...not because I'm not interested, though, I just haven't checked my new deviations in like four months. Got...285 of the things in queue.

For something to be a masterpiece, it must not only imbue a sense of regret upon completion, but also cause an undefinable longing for the fiction to be anything but. One day, I hope to create something that fits that description.

go to my gallery, and see where it says featured, change that to browse. then the original is a bit farther down on the page

Hm...I'd have to say I think the second one's better. It looks...well, I can't think of a way of putting it beyond "deeper," which I like. Then again, subtlety is usually lost on me.

Is that how you spell that? "Subtlety?" Yeah, I think so...
