well alot of people didnt get it, so here you go: this whole peice symbolizes the spread of industry and developement and the destruction of the enviroment. the hand shows that the develoepers (symbolized by the city with the smokestacks) have marked this beautiful place for destruction. the birds circleing are the actual people who are greedily eyeing the place to see how much profit they can make
